About this vacancy

  • Manage our upstream LTSCP roadmap in collaboration with all plants and procurement.
  • Identify opportunities in advanced manufacturing engineering (productivity & QVE), working with the Program Manager to manage the Capacity and CAMA of GSC NAM.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships, building trust and respect.
  • Lead and follow up on manufacturing projects within the GSC NAM scope, creating deployment scenarios (BCI) in line with NAM LTIP, considering CoGS, lead time, operations, and logistics.
  • Dive into data analysis, benefit calculation, and validation, setting the right targets for new processes with SPS rules, and aligning Capex, Opex, schedule, and project goals with stakeholders for commitment and investment optimization.
  • Present project reports to management for approval and provide regular updates as needed.
  • Coordinate resources between supplier quality engineers, plants, BU, Purchasing, and other support functions to ensure project progress meets planned targets.
  • Learn and extend Lean Manufacturing & SPS concepts to suppliers and colleagues, supporting plant teams in developing competencies.
  • Participate in supplier management to strengthen the local supplier pool in NAM, balancing workload and cost. Provide expertise to procurement to optimize Capex & Opex.
  • Build MPL competencies within the team and develop at least two potential successors for this role.

What we expect from you

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in industrialization, automation, ergonomics, LADM, or similar areas within a high-tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Experience defining equipment specifications for technologies such as robotics, COBOTs, Smart Factory, and Industry 4.0.
  • Knowledge of cost estimation and supplier markets for these technologies.
  • Clear understanding of SE Industrial policies and practices.
  • Proven experience in driving successful project execution.
  • Additional competencies in Lean Manufacturing, flow optimization, and Kanban systems.
