About this vacancy

At TMC, as a Project Manager, you get the chance to work on innovative projects within sectors such as machine building, High Tech, Space, and the offshore industry. You act as the link between technology, the client, and the team to successfully manage the entire process (from the concept phase to realization). To accomplish the above, your daily responsibilities include: - Leading multidisciplinary engineering projects (from A to Z); - Managing project teams and monitoring planning, budget, and quality; - Translating customer needs into technical solutions; - Acting as a (technical) sparring partner for clients and colleagues; - Continuously improving processes.

What we expect from you

In addition to a completed MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or a similar field) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a technical project management role within a complex technical environment, you possess experience with project methodologies (such as IPMA or Prince2) and demonstrate the following qualities:

Proactive work attitude: you take the initiative independently and push the boundaries of technical possibilities;
Strong communication skills: you can clearly convey your message in both Dutch and English to internal and external stakeholders;
Entrepreneurial and creative: you don’t just focus on your tasks, but also consider the bigger picture and constantly look for ways to improve;
Variety and versatility: you enjoy working on diverse projects and seek technical challenges rather than avoiding them;
Stronger together: you have the drive to help others and feel a strong connection to the TMC-team.
