About this vacancy

As a Project Engineer in the construction industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects. You will work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Your role will involve managing the technical aspects of the project, ensuring that technical specifications, designs, and documentation are properly prepared and executed. You will also provide technical support, resolve issues as they arise, and facilitate smooth communication across all parties involved.

Manage capital projects following the CPMP methodology, with a focus on civil constructions: concrete, steel, and finishes.
Supervise the construction of structures (civil structures, concrete floors, façade and roof finishes, interior finishes, etc.).
Write specifications, compare bills of quantities, select contracting firms, and closely monitor their daily site activities.
Create and manage project plans, including objectives, milestones, tasks, and resources.
Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any technical issues.

What we expect from you

3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction sector, ideally within contracting or consultancy roles, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical or food industries.
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Solid technical understanding of civil structures and their applications.
Native proficiency in Dutch and fluent in English.
