About this vacancy

  • Leverage your physics or materials science background to analyze the physical and material impacts of product changes, minimizing processing time while ensuring reliable planning.
  • Organize and chair cross-functional project change control boards to assess the technical impact, plan, and approve changes.
  • Advise on the scope of change requests, applying scientific principles to control scope and determine whether a change is new or an update.
  • Coordinate and coach cross-functional teams, ensuring an understanding of the material and physical implications of the product change process.
  • Monitor and control the implementation of approved changes, ensuring alignment with technical and scientific standards.
  • Provide feedback and ensure changes are processed according to agreed policies and best scientific practices.

What we expect from you

  • Strong combination of expertise in configuration management, project management, and applied scientific principles.
  • Proven ability to apply physics or materials science knowledge to assess the technical impact of product changes and ensure scientific rigor.
  • Familiarity with the physical and material consequences of product changes on processes such as manufacturing, operations, and customer support.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple changes, configurations, and their interdependencies, with a focus on technical accuracy and feasibility.
