About this vacancy

Are you a trained PLC and robot programmer with at least 5 years of experience and looking for an exciting opportunity? At TMC, we are looking for passionate and dedicated engineers with strong enthusiasm to optimize and automate robots, production lines, and factories.

In this role, you will have a central position in creating and customizing PLC programs to control production equipment and systems. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing solutions for continuous integration and delivery. Your tasks will include optimizing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and performance of our clients' systems. Your responsibilities also include supporting development teams with tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality in the client’s automation solutions.

You will work in a dynamic environment with close collaboration between various teams, providing you with opportunities to develop both technical and communicative skills.

What we expect from you

We are looking for an educated engineer within automation, mechatronics, production technology or a similar field, who has worked with PLC and robot programming. You have a strong interest in automation and are driven by streamlining and improving processes and systems.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

Have experience in programming industrial robots, particularly Fanuc and ABB (RAPID).
Have worked with the design and implementation of PLC and SCADA systems, primarily Siemens TIA Portal.
Be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
Be independent, curious, and solution-oriented.

Meritorious experience:

Knowledge of machinery safety and application of relevant standards.
Experience with vision systems.
Background in the manufacturing industry.
