About this vacancy

As a **Medior Soil and Environment Advisor** at TMC, you work on diverse projects where soil quality, environmental legislation, and sustainability take center stage. You provide advice on soil investigations, remediations, soil reuse, and the environmental integration of projects. Additionally, you prepare reports and maintain contact with clients and competent authorities. You work on assignments for municipalities, provinces, environmental agencies, and consultancy firms, among others. The tasks are both technically substantive and strategic in nature. In this role, you combine your subject-matter expertise with a broad view of legislation, project objectives, and sustainability. You are part of the Business Cell Environment & Sustainability within TMC, where you collaborate with other specialists and have space to further deepen your expertise.

What we expect from you

A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field.
3 to 7 years of work experience as a consultant in soil, environment, or sustainability.
Experience with soil investigations, remediation issues, and relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., Wbb, Environment and Planning Act).
Strong advisory skills and excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as function in project teams.
An affinity for sustainability and circular land use is a plus.
