About this vacancy

At TMC Engineering, you get the chance to apply your technical knowledge to challenging projects at companies in industries such as medical devices, machinery, food/non-food, automotive, high-tech, and the on- and offshore industry. As an Employeneur, you make a valuable contribution to achieving the objectives of our clients. These objectives can range from meeting deadlines to optimizing the project management process. Projects typically last between 6 months and 1.5 years, giving you the time to make an impact and leave something valuable behind. Your ambition is central to us, which is why we work together to determine which projects best suit you. Currently, we have several exciting projects where you can make a difference, such as: - Internal Project Engineer, where you will be responsible for "out-of-scope" activities. With your creativity, you tackle incidental customer adjustments, guide them internally through the organization, and perform engineering tasks where necessary. Additionally, it is possible to involve internal colleagues in specific challenges. - Cost Engineer, where your challenge is to engineer a machine that is too expensive in a smarter way. For this model, you will explore how it can be produced more affordably and possibly examine specific components. You take the initiative and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best result.

What we expect from you

In addition to completing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or automotive engineering, at least six years of work experience, and knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.), you identify yourself with the following characteristics: - **Proactive work attitude:** You take initiative independently and think ahead. - **Strong communication skills:** You can effectively communicate in both Dutch and English. - **Entrepreneurial and creative:** You don't just focus on what you're doing but also consider the bigger picture, always looking for ways to improve things. - **Social mindset:** You're interested in what others are doing, enjoy expanding your network, and occasionally participate in social activities with colleagues. - **Stronger together:** You have the drive to help others and feel connected to the TMC team.
