About this vacancy

At TMC Engineering, you have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to challenging projects at companies in sectors such as medical devices, machinery construction, food/non-food, automotive, high-tech, and the on- and offshore industries. As an employeneur, you make a valuable contribution to achieving the objectives of our clients. These may range from meeting deadlines to optimizing the project management process.

Projects typically last between 6 months and 1.5 years, giving you enough time to make an impact and leave something valuable behind. Your ambition is central to us, which is why we work together to select the projects that best fit your goals.

Currently, we have several exciting projects available where you can make a difference, such as:

Medior/Senior Engineer, where you will realize the modernization of existing machines for the food and pharma industries. Modular design and making the right choices for new systems are key aspects of this assignment. Additionally, you will contribute to future-proofing the organization and enjoy taking leadership on specific themes in this process.

Cost Engineer, your challenge is to engineer a solution for a machine that is currently too expensive. For this model, you will explore how it can be produced more cost-effectively and examine individual components if necessary. You take initiative and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best results.

What we expect from you

In addition to a completed higher professional education (HBO) in mechanical engineering, aviation, or automotive technology, at least 6 years of work experience, and knowledge of 3D CAD software (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.), you recognize yourself in the following characteristics: - **Proactive work attitude:** You take initiative and think ahead. - **Strong communication skills:** You can express yourself well in both Dutch and English. - **Entrepreneurial and creative:** You not only focus on what you do but also consider the bigger picture and always look for ways to improve things. - **Social disposition:** You show interest in what others do, enjoy expanding your network, and occasionally participate in social activities with your colleagues. - **Stronger together:** You have the drive to support others and feel connected to the TMC team.
