About this vacancy

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for setting up and optimizing production processes to ensure a smooth production flow. Your tasks include: - Providing daily technical support to production lines. - Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities together with production employees. - Continuously optimizing production processes and machines to achieve maximum output, minimal costs, and optimal quality and lead time. - Anticipating bottlenecks and implementing structural improvement measures. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve QLTC objectives (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost). - Your role requires both strategic insight and a hands-on approach. You work in a dynamic, high-tech production environment where teamwork and solution-oriented thinking are central.

What we expect from you

- A completed higher professional education (HBO) in mechanical engineering, technical business administration, or a comparable field. - 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a production environment, preferably within assembly. - Experience in developing and improving production systems. - Fluent in Dutch and English. - Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset. - Practical, hands-on mentality and experience with multidisciplinary teams. - Preferably Lean Six Sigma qualified (Green Belt or Black Belt). - Good communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead colleagues.
