TMC Italia is looking for a SW Engineer based in our customer’s premises to provide support on Motorsport / Automotive applications.

About this vacancy

Design, develop, and maintain firmware and drivers in a Linux (Kernel) environment and Yocto.
Develop Embedded C code for FreeRTOS systems.
Implement and manage communication protocols, including CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
Perform testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure robust and reliable performance.

What we expect from you

MS in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Italian and English, both written and verbal.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in firmware and driver development in a Linux/Yocto environment.
Strong expertise in Embedded C development within FreeRTOS systems.
Proficient in communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
Proven ability to work autonomously and manage tasks effectively.
Familiarity with laboratory hardware/software instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
Experience in the Motorsport industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to have: experience with audio/video streaming technologies.
