About this vacancy

As a Junior Work Planner in civil engineering, you work on diverse projects in underground infrastructure, civil engineering, and soil remediation. From small-scale tasks to complex projects across the country, no two days are the same, and that's what makes this job so interesting. You translate plans into actionable steps, maintain oversight, and ensure everything runs smoothly. You monitor progress, safety, and quality, and actively think about improvements in the process. ### What will you do? - Prepare, plan, and coordinate civil engineering projects - Draft work plans and purchasing lists - Request quotations and maintain contact with suppliers - Manage subcontractors and monitor costs - Identify discrepancies and find practical solutions - Regularly visit sites for surveys, inspections, and work meetings - Collaborate in a dedicated team with a project leader and supervisor You’ll have the space to learn, make mistakes, and grow. With experienced colleagues guiding you, you’ll develop step by step into a full-fledged work planner.

What we expect from you

What you bring

A completed mbo-4 or hbo degree in Civil Engineering
Clear communication in Dutch, both spoken and written
Knowledge of various contract forms
Preferably at least one year of experience as a (junior) work planner (internship experience is also acceptable)
Experience with Metacom is a plus, but not required
You think ahead, take initiative, and maintain oversight, even under pressure
