About this vacancy

We are seeking a Junior System Engineer to support our IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of networking principles and a keen interest in developing their skills in system engineering.

Your key Responsibilities will include

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Support the implementation of network security measures and protocols.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain system documentation.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.
Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

What we expect from you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and system administration tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in Dutch and English; good knowledge of French is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus
