About this vacancy

After a training period, during which you gain insight into our installations, our process, and our IT infrastructure, you will:

Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and access points).
Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools.
Support the implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve network-related incidents and service requests.
Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
Participate in network security initiatives, including firewall configuration and vulnerability assessments.
Stay updated on networking technologies and industry trends.Ensure the continuity, growth, and innovation of the network infrastructure, from design to commissioning.
Be involved in numerous projects and autonomously lead a project with different employees.
Play a role in determining the global architecture of the Network Infrastructure.

What we expect from you

You have a master's degree in one of the following disciplines: engineering sciences, computer sciences, industrial sciences with a specialization in ICT, electrical engineering, or electronics.
You are interested in the latest IT technologies and Network Infrastructures
You have basic understanding of network concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs,...)
Familiarity with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent devices
You speak English and Dutch fluently
You have strong organization skills, you are enterprising, and have the capabilities and the ambition to lead a project team.
You are social, communicative and able to integrate smoothly into new and existing teams.
Eagerness to learn and develop skills in networking and IT infrastructure
