About this vacancy

Managing IT projects, including launching and following up on projects, planning their implementation, monitoring their scope, budget and schedule, managing issues and risks, drafting progress reports, and producing documentation.
Working with the business to set priorities within your project portfolio.
Cooperating on and synchronizing with IT projects upstream or downstream of your projects to deal with scheduling constraints and realize synergies between projects;
Testing requirements provided by the business before their approval.
Validating and verifying specifications drawn up by the business and translating these into a functional, technical design based on Microsoft technologies (.NET).
Managing a team of internal and/or external developers together with the .NET technical manager and closely monitoring projects entailing software that is purchased or developed externally.
Validating a testing and quality management strategy and monitoring them during rollout.
Overseeing releases.
Supporting end users (second line).
Organizing and prioritizing the maintenance of the developed solutions.

What we expect from you

You have several years of relevant experience as an IT project manager and/or Business Analyst and/or functional analyst and/or product owner.
Experience with agile scrum development and/or lean management.
You are fluent in English. You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
You hold a university degree specializing in IT and/or electricity.
Experience in projects/products based on Microsoft architecture (.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server) is a plus.
You can communicate easily with developers on technical matters.
Knowledge of and experience in the electricity and/or energy sector would be an asset.
You keep abreast of the latest IT developments. Demonstrable experience in digitalization would be an asset.
You can communicate easily with operators about technical and design matters.
You have an analytical mind and good organizational skills.
You are customer-driven and a good communicator and you work well in a team.
You are willing to work on certain projects outside Belgium.
