In the role of Geotechnical Consultant at TMC, you will work as a specialist in the field of geotechnics on various projects. You are responsible for advising clients on the geotechnical aspects of projects, conducting soil investigations, and drafting geotechnical reports. You collaborate with engineering firms, contractors, and (semi-)government institutions to find technical solutions for complex challenges.

You will have the opportunity to work on projects in both the private and public sectors, including infrastructure projects, the construction of roads and bridges, as well as hydraulic and civil engineering works. The variety of projects allows you to further expand your knowledge and experience.

What we expect from you

As a Geotechnical Consultant at TMC, you work on diverse projects that challenge your knowledge and skills. You possess strong analytical abilities and know how to translate geotechnical issues into practical solutions. You already have experience in civil engineering and are looking for the next step in your career. In addition, we require the following: - A completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) or WO (University Education) degree in civil engineering, geotechnics, or a similar field of study. - Experience as a Geotechnical Consultant within civil engineering, for example in road construction, hydraulic engineering, infrastructure, or the construction sector. - You have knowledge of geotechnical software and methods and experience in conducting geotechnical investigations. - You possess excellent communication skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. - You have a proactive work attitude, are eager to learn, and show initiative.
