About this vacancy

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the primary point of contact for our clients and ensure that technical installations function optimally. You are the specialist who resolves malfunctions, performs maintenance, and guides clients in the use of their systems. In this role, you combine your technical expertise with customer orientation and frequently travel internationally to deliver service, maintenance, and repairs.

You work closely with clients, project teams, and subcontractors and are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of service activities. Thanks to your expertise, installations remain reliable and future-proof.

Performing service and maintenance work on cooling and process installations;
Analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical malfunctions;
Conducting inspections, testing, and commissioning during service and maintenance projects;
Guiding and training operators and technicians at the client’s site;
Advising clients on improvements and preventive maintenance;
Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations;
Reporting completed tasks and communicating with clients and internal teams.

What we expect from you

We are looking for an independent and solution-oriented professional who contributes to excellent service with technical expertise and customer focus. You enjoy traveling and working in an international environment and are able to act structured and professionally under pressure.

Technical education at MBO 4 or bachelor's level (preferably in refrigeration technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering);
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in service, maintenance, or troubleshooting;
Knowledge of refrigeration technology, process, and control technology is a strong advantage;
Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
Independent, flexible, and stress-resistant;
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude;
Willingness to travel internationally and work irregular hours.
