About this vacancy

For one of our clients in the Utrecht region, we are looking for a Designer GWW. You are the key player in translating civil engineering challenges into clear, executable designs. From sewer systems to pavements and from reconstructions to area development, you contribute to projects that are directly visible in the living environment.

As a Designer GWW, you work on multidisciplinary projects within civil engineering. You ensure that designs are technically accurate, practically feasible, and align with the requirements of the client and the surroundings.

Your tasks include, among others:

Creating civil engineering designs in various project phases (VO, DO, UO)
Modeling profiles, cross-sections, elevation plans, and pavement constructions
Applying guidelines and systems (e.g., CROW, RAW, UAV-gc)
Contributing ideas about project phasing, temporary situations, and feasibility
Collaborating with project managers, supervisors, draftsmen, and other disciplines

What we expect from you

A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field
Experience as a designer or drafter within GWW projects
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or similar design software
An affinity for integrated work and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and accustomed to working collaboratively within project teams
