Continuous Improvement Engineer
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you are the connecting factor between various departments (horizontally) and management layers (vertically), while maintaining a process improvement mindset.

About this vacancy
- You switch between improvement projects in various technological sectors, project timelines, organizational challenges, project schedules, and scopes
- You determine the right approach to working and producing efficiently. You can create a plan to optimize the production environment
- You are strong in communication with internal and external stakeholders
- You form the right project teams with members from different departments and get them on board
- Creating awareness and motivation among personnel on the production floor is also part of the daily tasks: you are the engineer in the Gemba
- You successfully implement improvement projects with insight into all needs and occasionally take on a role in aftercare
What we expect from you
Our clients operate within various industries, making it important that you largely identify with the following points.
You:
- Have completed a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or an equivalent field, with several years of experience in a production or assembly environment;
- Gain energy from tackling complex challenges on a project basis;
- Are communicatively skilled and strong in stakeholder management;
- Know how to professionally adapt to different types of organizations and, as an employeneur, bring a fresh perspective to daily matters for our clients;
- Have knowledge/affinity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, preferably certified (theoretical and practical) Green or Black Belt;
- Are a generalist engineer: you have a proven track record in collaborating with various departments throughout the technological product lifecycle process;
- Have knowledge of modern production procedures;
- Find it important to gain satisfaction from your workday;
- Are proficient in Dutch and English. Any additional language is a nice plus.
