About this vacancy

Are you an experienced BIM Modeler with a background in architecture or civil engineering? Do you want to work on challenging infrastructure projects where you can unleash your technical creativity and make a real impact? Then this role as a BIM Modeler at TMC is perfect for you.

As an Employeneur at TMC, you will contribute to various multidisciplinary design processes. You will be responsible for modeling civil structures, ranging from bridges and tunnels to locks and quay walls. You understand how these constructions are put together, actively contribute to the design, and translate technical information into smart, accurate models and drawings. In doing so, you comply with standards set by organizations like ProRail, Rijkswaterstaat (RWS), OVS, and ROK.

You will be part of a professional design team, working on projects either independently or collaboratively with colleagues. You communicate effectively and continuously keep your knowledge up-to-date.

What will you do?

Modeling civil structures in 3D using modern modeling software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla)
Preparing construction drawings and details based on the design
Collaborating with designers and engineers on feasibility and optimization
Interpreting guidelines and standards from ProRail, Rijkswaterstaat, or other clients
Working together with modelers, design coordinators, project managers, and project planners
Regularly aligning with other disciplines and project locations

What we expect from you

Completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) in Architecture or Civil Engineering
5 to 7 years of work experience as a modeler within the civil sector
Experience with (BIM) modeling software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, or similar
Familiar with regulations from organizations such as OVS, ROK, ProRail, or RWS
Strong communication skills, eager to learn, and independent in your work attitude
