The organization focuses on integrating electrical and automation systems on board naval ships, submarines, and yachts. It is a complex yet fascinating field where innovation, customization, and technology come together. Each vessel is unique, and even after delivery, the organization remains involved in maintenance and further upgrades throughout the entire lifecycle.

Job Description

The Automation Engineer is part of one or more project teams, consisting of Automation Engineers, System Engineers, and Technical Project Managers. A mix of experienced specialists and enthusiastic professionals.

Responsibilities include designing, programming, and configuring automation systems for applications such as:

Alarm and monitoring systems
Propulsion systems
Power management systems

Work is carried out with various PLC and SCADA platforms, including internal custom systems. After software development, the Automation Engineer remains involved in test and delivery phases such as FAT, HAT, and SAT.

What we expect from you

Designing and specifying automation solutions for various maritime systems;
Configuring, developing, and maintaining software according to specifications;
Documenting and managing software and related changes;
Creating test protocols and preparing for acceptance tests;
Testing software in (virtual) network environments;
Supporting commissioning and service engineers with the correct information.

A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €6,000, depending on experience and education.
